ZIP TAP INSTRUCTIONS
Boiling water
A unique safety lock eliminates the risk of accidental discharge of boiling water.
Press the red lever and cover the “safety” button at the same time for access to boiling water.
Chilled Water
Press the blue lever to dispense chilled filtered water.
Hands Free – Chilled Water
Flick the blue lever towards you and a set limit of 700ml of chilled water will run which is especially useful for filling water bottles or carafes.
What happens when the red light is flashing on boiling side?
This indicates that the boiling water is below the desired temperature. Wait for the light to stop flashing before dispensing water. The flashing light will typically occur after switching on or coming out of sleep mode. If the light continues to flash for more than 60 seconds, please inform Nelsea. F. Iddi in Facilities.
What happens when the blue light is flashing on chilled side?
This indicates that the chilled water is not within the set temperature range. When the chilled water is at the set temperature, the light will stop flashing. This could take several minutes.
During heavy usage, the temperature can rise out of this range. If the light continues to flash after more than 10 minutes, please inform Nelsea. F. Iddi in Facilities.
What do I do when the filter light comes on?
The Zip Tap will notify you when the filter replacement is due. The change filter light will flash white once per minute until the filter has been replaced
PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT WASH YOUR DISHES USING THE BOILING WATER LEVER. USE THE STANDARD BOTTOM LEVER INSTEAD.
